Saber Kazemi - Brain Injury [Click and drag to move]
There has not been a day in the past week or two that sports enthusiasts, especially volleyball fans, have not searched the internet or sports media for the latest news about Saber Kazemi's brain or heart injury. Despite the passage of about 10 days, everyone is still uncertain about how it happened; whether this young and lively player suffered a cardiac arrest or is in a coma due to a brain injury caused by an electric shock in the pool. But who is Saber Kazemi?
Saber Kazemi has been active in volleyball professionally for years and was eventually able to become a member of our country's national team. He was active in the Ara Bank Agriculture team. With a height of two meters, he was able to become one of the top professional volleyball players in our country, and he has been very effective in the Iranian national team.
Saber Kazemi - Social Ambassador [Click and drag to move]
Saber Kazemi has gone through all stages of his growth in Iran from an ordinary player. He has tried to reach national teams and world fame, so that he can play as a legionnaire in another country. Since Saber Kazemi's specialty was volleyball, the official path to finding talent has not happened for them.
For example, in football, which today has a more formal structure and is the only sport in our country that, as an official sport, has occupied all politicians and has official stages in transferring and guiding the blossoming talents of our children, but this does not happen in volleyball. In ordinary transfers in football, when a player grows from a small local club and is transferred to the next clubs, and then when the player is transferred to a more professional club, for example, clubs abroad, something called transfer rights is paid to all these clubs that were on the path to developing this talent. Each one receives a transfer fee equal to the number of years they have contributed to the athlete's growth. But in volleyball and other sports where children grow through their own efforts and those of their families, and sometimes coaches and some caring individuals at the club level, the path of growth of these talents does not follow a normal path. For example, in the case of Saber Kazemi, despite the fact that the Kale Club, which was one of the local clubs where he grew up, no transfer fee was paid to the Kale Club or to his previous club. Now, in cyberspace, our volleyball player is called Saber Kazemi. Meanwhile, at the same time, our Iranian futsal girls and our kabaddi girls achieved very beautiful and brilliant positions in the national team in the Asian Games, which those who are into sports consider them a source of pride and joy. But our non-sports politicians who only watch football do not pay attention to their bonuses, and sometimes their bonuses may be paid the following year or in very small amounts.
The Iranian volleyball team has been shining at the top of the world volleyball rankings for years, so much so that when we lost this game to a national team, they asked why our game did not come first. For example, in one of the games, Saber Kazemi, as our national volleyball player, said in a conversation with news agencies about losing the result against Australia, which they had not won the previous game: The game against Australia was our bad day. We were unable to use the opponent's weakness against Australia and lost the game two to three, and Australia won its first victory in the Volleyball Nations League.
Saber Kazemi had a positive approach to the media coverage of his teammates' professional lives. In response to reporters who were discussing Milad Ebadipour, who is a member of the national team in the tournament but has become a topic of discussion on social media, he said:
“Milad Ebadipour is our influential player. He plays high-pressure games in the Polish league. Everyone knows that he is a great player and he will definitely return to his peak game by game.
There was really a lot of pressure on me in the past few months and I didn’t have any time to rest. I was very afraid that God forbid I would get injured, but I love my people and I really want to always be able to make them happy and I always do everything I can to help my team win in any situation.
Going to the Olympics and playing in this great sporting event in the world is definitely the dream of every athlete and I was really happy about this and I felt very good, but I wish we could have achieved a better result, although we tried our best but unfortunately it didn’t happen.
I have great hopes for Iranian volleyball that we will definitely achieve a much better result in the next Olympics.”

Strange summons to the parliament
On Tuesday, November 26, Taghavi, a volleyball representative, attended a meeting in the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Sports Commission, along with Dr. Reza Jabbari, a neurologist. According to information obtained, the main purpose of this presence has not yet been officially announced. However, the matter may be related to the case of Saber Kazemi, a player of the Iranian national volleyball team, who recently suffered a brain injury and coma in Qatar.
Recently, the young Iranian volleyball player Saber Kazemi, who happened to be a supporter of Zina Zidane, was playing for a Qatari club team. He suffered an electric shock in the pool where he had gone to recover.
If this had happened in a pool in Iran, would the opponents of Iranian authority have just passed by him as usual?
In that case, all the news agencies in the world would have reported this news and numerous conferences about the reasons for the inability to protect a top-level volleyball player in the world.
However, perhaps if more attention was paid to athletes in other sports besides football in Iran, this would have happened to Saber Kazem. He would not have been playing in the league of rival countries. He was playing in Iran and had the potential to create a social movement. Because he was only 26 years old and could be a good role model for other young people in the country and for his family.
