Fakhr-1 Satellite [Click and drag to move]
The satellite, named Fakhr-1 in honor of the services of the martyred scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, has dimensions of 3 units (3U). This nano-satellite was launched into space as a side payload along with the Saman-1 orbital transfer block and another research payload by the Simorgh satellite launcher.
The Fakhr-1 nano-satellite was designed, manufactured and launched by the Imam Khomeini Space Center (RA) by order of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army by Sairan Company in partnership with Malek Ashtar University of Technology.
The satellite, named Fakhr-1 in honor of the services of the martyred scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, has dimensions of 3 units (3U) and its mass is less than 10 kilograms.
The Fakhr-1 satellite was successfully launched into space as a side payload by the Simorgh launcher with the mission of proving key technologies in the cube satellite system.
The primary goal of this space mission is to establish multiple launch technology using the Simorgh launcher (spacecraft). The Simorgh satellite carrier rocket is a two-stage satellite carrier whose engine fuel is liquid fuel.
Key subsystems used in the Fakhr 1 satellite include the central computer, energy and power management, radio communications, and flight dynamics, most of which are nano-scale satellite equipment localized by domestic knowledge-based companies and launched into space for the first time.
The reason for naming the Fakhr 1 satellite was in honor of the unparalleled services of Dr. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was martyred. The assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense of our country, took place in December 2020 after his years of diligent efforts in the fields of research and industry, and unfortunately, he was martyred despite the efforts of the medical staff.
